My daughter, a student at Cal Poly, took her car there because the check engine light had come on and it seemed to be related to emissions. This shop was recommended by a guy working at O'Reilly Auto parts in San Luis Obispo. They were able to identify the problem and explained the recommended repair may or may not solve the problem. They said it didn't affect the driving at all and the car would be fine even if you didn't do anything. I was impressed with their honesty and the repair work they recommended seemed reasonably priced. We will definitely go back to them with any car repairs.
