My truck broke down near San Luis Obispo while hauling a horse trailer on a Sunday. I found out about Villa Automotive and the tow truck driver said they were actually open. When we arrived the incredibly helpful shop manager said they could look at the truck right away and even better they had a diesel mechanic available. While we were setting up the paperwork she said we could put the trailer on the street, she offered the AAA discount and offered to give a ride somewhere if I needed it. She also mentioned that if I could not make it by their 5pm close time that she could wait until 5:30 or she could leave the truck on the street with the keys stashed and I could pay over the phone. They were able to fix the truck the same day and recommended a better part for the one that was faulty. When I got back to pick up the truck later that afternoon, she had sprayed off the coolant from the outside and inside of the truck so it would not smell so bad. In short 1. Open on Sunday 2. Diesel mechanic 3. Great follow up. 4. Great customer service. I wish they were in Santa Barbara too. Can’t say enough good things about their customer service and expertise.

Although the waiting room has pretty good coffee, the new doughnut shop across the street is even better. Or, just around the corner is historic well landscaped and quiet Eto park.

I took my 2004 Mercedes in for an annual maintenance check. I also took a list of items that were coming up on the screen in the car as things that needed to be checked on. All maintenance was done and my list was handled. It was found that I needed a new battery and new back tires. Those were installed. I got my car back the same day, running beautifully. Thank you Villa’s for such great service and customer support.
